Chris Borich raced to a win at the VP Racing Fuels Bib Buck GNCC in Union, South Carolina. The triumph was a bit of a bounce back for the defending champion after he had suffered through his first lost of the season two weeks previously. This win was the Yamaha team member’s third out of the four races he has competed in so far this racing year.
To earn the win, Borich took the lead early and fought off repeated challenges brought from Adam McGill, Chris Bithell, Taylor Kiser, Walker Fowler and Brian Wolf who finished the two-hour race in second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth place respectively. Kiser is the rider who gave Borich his first loss a couple of weeks earlier.
Talking about the win, the victorious Borich said, “It actually worked out to be in the front this weekend especially because of how much of a factor the dust was today… I really like racing with them and it makes it more fun when we can all mix it up out there.”
